Human Trafficking 101
For both the public and private sectors
This training is designed to reach any person or any business, church, school, or organization who are interested in learning more about the realities of human trafficking, how to prevent it and what steps to take if you suspect human trafficking. This training is designed to be audience specific including:
- Organizations providing services to youth or adults including trauma informed practices
- School systems with specific training for counselors and educators, age specific for students, parents or guardians. These trainings do satisfy the State of TN requirements for school training and offer continuing education credits for professional staff
- Church training for leadership and youth
- Business training for workforce development
- Hospitality and transportation industry training
- Professional, civic and community group trainings
How to Assess, Identify, Prevent, and Serve
Agency specific training
State and local agencies such as law enforcement, prosecution, criminal justice, juvenile justice, court systems, emergency management, and medical or fire services
- POST certification alongside The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for law enforcement: two to six hours depending on specific needs of department trained
- Continuing education credits offered for professionals
- Trainings designed specific to agency needs such as familial trafficking, at risk youth in state or local systems, trauma bonds, preventing re-victimization, etc.

A two day conference offering up to 21 CEUs with specialized professional training
This conference will educate you on the realities of human trafficking and drug endangered children and teach you how to collaborate, advocate, and impact change in your community.
Sessions will feature a broad variety of topics presented by engaging speakers from all sectors. You will hear from people who directly interact with those affected by addiction; receive advanced training on signs of human trafficking; develop trauma-informed and strengths-based responses; learn about the intersection of child sexual abuse images and human trafficking; and more.
You will have the opportunity to interact with vendors, find resources for services provided by agencies that work with vulnerable populations, and make connections with colleagues in various fields.
