Restoring, educating, & empowering

Our vision is to develop a collaborative environment of change that addresses the supply and demand cycle of human trafficking through five strategic initiatives.

Restoration of Survivors

Restoration is at the heartbeat of WillowBend Farms and drives each of the strategic initiatives. For survivors, this is where the simple words hope, joy, and love come to life as the journey to safety, freedom, and independence is made possible. For the community, this is an opportunity to partner in providing wraparound services that promote healing and empowerment including educational opportunities, workforce development, counseling, medical treatment, life skills, and more.

We are a faith-based, Christ-centered, nonprofit organization focused on the restoration of survivors to facilitate health in all areas of life including physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, educational, financial, and job skill assessment and partnership. In our trauma-informed programs, we evaluate and address the needs of each individual to provide evidence-based, holistic, and strategic approaches of care founded on biblical principles.

This is an invitation to a place of safety where transformation, purpose-filled living, and independence are realized through various avenues:

  • Long-Term Residential
  • Community Clients
  • Juvenile Services
  • Transitional Housing
  • Vocational Program

Initiative #2

Prevention, Education, Awareness

We offer trainings to businesses, organizations, churches, and concerned citizens who want to understand human trafficking.

We also provide prevention education to parents and children. Our specialized trainings have reached audiences in many industries including healthcare, education, law enforcement, hospitality, travel and transportation, and many others.

We facilitate models of support to assist cities and counties in utilizing task forces, coalitions, and working groups to address needs specific to each community. The successful multidisciplinary solutions further measurable impact in awareness, collaboration across different agencies, and impact the safety of the community regarding human trafficking.

This initiative also ensures victims are identified sooner and survivors receive services quicker.

Our goals are accomplished in a variety of ways:

  • Are You Awake? annual conference
  • Trainings for schools, businesses, and organizations
  • Community task forces and coalitions
  • Awareness events and speaking opportunities

Network of Emergent Care Safehouses

Our emergency response center offers a safe place to stay for survivors coming out of active trafficking situations. We assess needs and find the right solution for the client, working hand-in- hand with them. We also maintain relationships with a network of safe houses, with whom we have partnered to place survivors in 31 states.

Find survivor services & support

If you or someone you know is in need of support, finding it might be easier than you think. We make it as quick and easy as possible to find services and assistance.

Initiative #4

Rescue Opportunities For Those Wanting a Safe Way Out

Providing a safe exit is an imperative initiative. We have the privilege at point of contact to offer services and support for those identified through partnering agencies, self referrals, or various community avenues. These include the national hotline, the TN human trafficking hotline, law enforcement, education, health care systems, and other organizations.

We have rescue teams who are trained, vetted, and are adept at working with different agencies to get someone to safety, if they choose to accept services.

Initiative #5

Demand Reduction

The impact of this initiative is to close the cycle of supply and demand. This is a lengthy process, ultimately leading back to protection for survivors and the pursuit of perpetrators through:

  • Advocating for change within the judicial and legislative systems
  • Court mandated program for those who buy, sell, or traffic others
  • Legislation and prosecution
